Bio | Peter Metry is an Associated Member at CERN, where he works as a Robotics Intern Engineer at the Beams Department. Metry became the first student from Coventry University to join a technical department at CERN. Metry is also a Modeling & Simulation Engineer at Process & Product Development Unit (PPDU) at The American University in Cairo. Metry is a certified Deep Learning Engineer, Remote Pilot and researches in the Mechatronics of Unmanned Air Vehicles. Currently serving as the Head of Technical Department, Flight Mechanics Instructor and Remote Test Pilot at TKH Aerospace. He also leads a Research Program in UAVs at TKH Aerospace in Egypt. Metry was a Research Assistant at AUC’s Yousef Jameel STRC, Junior Research Assistant – Lab Support at The Knowledge Hub Universities in Egypt, and has previously worked at Volkswagen Egypt as a Mechatronics Intern Engineer. Metry currently studies Mechanical Engineering at Coventry University, focusing mainly on Aerospace, Mechatronics & Robotics. |
