Bio | As a lifelong space enthusiast Tom considers himself lucky to have make a career in informal aerospace education. He developed and taught programs at Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama, the Museum of Flight in Seattle, Washington, and the Challenger Space Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Currently he works for the DoD STARBASE program in his home state of Indiana, where he started as a teacher and now serves as Executive Director overseeing operations of the 4 Academies across the state. Tom and his wife have 2 teenage daughters, and when he’s not working he enjoys hiking, canoeing, reading, writing (bad) poetry, playing music and drawing, both traditionally and digitally (especially space scenes and mission patches).
