Bio

Mechanical Engineering senior with a diverse background, including designing pivotal system schematics for NASA’s Orion rocket and complex design projects for Boeing and SEL. I have honed a strong proficiency in both electrical and mechanical systems and elevated my engineering design skills. I have an unwavering commitment to learning, and I am determined to make significant advancements in the field of bioastronautics. With a strong foundation in high-level physics, thermofluids, and engineering principles, I am poised to drive innovation within this domain.

Academic Background

Will Obtain a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in December of 2024.

Capstone project for Boeing entails developing a cryogenic testbed for O-ring saturation testing. It requires optical dilatometry hardware and must be sustained at -47°C to support the SAFsaturation experiments conducted toward the semester’s end. Involves Partnering with cross-functional teams to integrate research findings into practical aerospace engineering solutions, fostering innovation.

Professional Interests

My primary motivation is a deep-seated commitment to
contribute to the technological advancement of humanity, particularly in the
realm of human space exploration. The challenge of enabling humans to travel
further and explore the universe is not just invigorating but a call to action
that I am determined to answer. I am committed to playing a significant role in
overcoming the technological and physiological barriers that stand in the way
of this goal. My background in mechanical engineering, coupled with my hands-on
experience in space systems engineering at NASA, has provided me with the
technical foundation, work ethic, and drive necessary to succeed in this field.
I believe that with this commitment, an unwavering work ethic, a constantly
fostered ability to communicate and lead effectively, and just a bit of luck,
then perhaps I can join the legendary pilots, engineers, and scientists who
have made it past the Kármán line.
