Dr. Sumbal Mushtaq is a highly motivated individual with a strong passion for both medicine and space exploration As a medical doctor inclined towards Extreme and Wilderness medicine, Sumbal constantly seeks challenges that defy her limits. Currently collaborating with Spaceborn United, she is focused on studying human conception in partial gravity environments, aiming to advance our understanding of human reproduction in space. Dr. Mushtaq’s determination has led her to chart her own path despite encountering skepticism about her aspirations of becoming an Astronaut. Driven by her unwavering resolve, Sumbal is not only paving her own path but also dedicates herself to empowering children to break free from the chains of perceived limitations and dare to dream boundlessly. Sumbal founded Astralbeam Organization to inspire children in underdeveloped countries through immersive activities and space mission simulations, guiding them to think, eat, and prepare like astronauts. Simultaneously, it supports female teachers from underdeveloped countries by equipping them with the necessary skill sets to promote space awareness among their students while also identifying and addressing gender gaps in spaceflight research.
